Jeremy Woodruff's thoughtful actions and videos with sound are informed by his comprehensive research of ethno- and historical musicology. His non-cartesian investigations of the simplest building blocks of pitch and rhythm make a compelling music that challenges the predominant approach to musical text and musical interaction. Furthermore, his pieces deconstruct the interpreter's/collaborator's own artistic practice by using their everyday and personal experience, attitudes and abilities as material from which to create new fantastic acoustic worlds.

He performs with live electronics, featuring Brain Computer Interfaces together with flute/piccolo, alto/bari saxophone, schakuhachi, Arabic and Turkish ney, Kaval, North and South Indian flute.
